The Care Access Director is a brand ambassador within Vitra and throughout the communities we serve; they demonstrate exceptional communication and collaborative skills. The Director maintains and executes the roadmap of operational excellence by ensuring that clients are navigating through the admission process seamlessly and efficiently, while maintaining compliance with program specific regulations, and leading the team.

Essential Functions
- Provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance for Care Access staff
- Serves as a brand ambassador for Vitra reflecting our vision, mission, and values.
- Shows a genuine interest and compassion for the communities we serve and commitment to the diversity of our clients and team members.
- Oversees the Care Access department, maintains policy and procedures and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Leads the team through performance improvement projects and quality monitoring initiatives.
- Collaborates with Business Development, Marketing, and Regional Directors
- Ensures complete compliance off all admissions according to program specific regulations.
- Conducts regular reviews of all workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline processes.
- Leads training efforts, monitors team members performances, and provides timely feedback as appropriate.
- Utilizes technology to streamline and enhance care access experience and enhance business goals.
- Provides operational guidance for the care access team to ensure clients timely access to family services and provides objective guidance for improvement areas.
- Regularly collaborates with leadership team, analyzing performance times for the admission process and executing plans to enhance performance.
- Understands how clients navigate through the various stages of admission into family services and provides benchmarks for care access team performance.
- Collaborates with business development and healthcare delivery to ensure clients are provided an excellent experience and provides direction and goals for optimal operations.
- Participates in the budget process and ensures budget for respective areas are tracked and met.
- Works collaboratively with Business Development leadership to build and foster relationships with primary care providers, healthcare organizations, referral sources, and community partners.
- Develop reporting and tracks key performance indicators identifying areas of improvement and action plans.
- Analyzes and performs reviews of key data points.
- Maintains and tracks budget targets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Licensure Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years of management experience, preferably in healthcare and/or business development
- Experience in developing and managing key operating indicators.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficient in English and secondary language preferred
Physical and Environmental Demands:
- Works in a clean well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures in close proximity to others.
- Requires substantial periods of repetitive work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- Requires lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires pushing and pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 pounds; requires walking and standing; requires frequent sitting more than 75% of the workday; requires the ability to negotiate stairs; requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
